The British Perspective A website with a huge amount of detail on many battles of The American Revolution (and other British wars) from the British point of view.

Colonial Life. Colonial Williamsburg's terrific website about Colonial Life is a treasure trove of articles for teachers and other interested folk on life in Williamsburg. It also has a bunch of games on the subject for kids.

Colonial Williamsburg's Publication Williamsburg also provides excellent online versions of the articles from their monthly publication. Sometimes these online versions have extra photographs or information. This article shows the details of how men fought during the Revolution. This article has great images of the weaponry of The Revolution.

Shay's Rebellion An outstanding and detailed website from The Springfield, MA Technical Community College. Great images, maps, biographies - everything you could ever need to know about Shay's Rebellion.

Washington Crossing the Delaware River Lots of great detail about Washington's famous crossing of the Delaware River, from the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. Another site, from the Metropolitan Museum of Art gives great, interactive details on the painting of that momentous occasion.
